Welcome to Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association

The Greater Metropolitan Furnishings Association is a not-for-profit organization designed to foster, promote and protect the interests of retailers, representatives, designers, manufacturers, and home furnishings service-related industries in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut and Pennsylvania . An affiliate of the representatives’ association IHFRA, GMFA works to foster a spirit of mutual respect among members of the home furnishings community, hosts networking and social events, educational seminars, provides valuable benefits/discounts and is a voice for industry interests on regional and local levels. 

Now an all-volunteer organization, GMFA recently formed a closer partnership with the Dean Michael Clarizio Cancer Foundation charity. This move freed up all net revenue from dues and events such as GMFA's golf outings, holiday dinner dance, educational and networking meetings to provide cash grants to families of children and adults who are dealing with crushing cancer related expenses.
